Champions Creed Seminar
Just got back from another great weekend in Calgary at Brian and Sheila Bird's gym, Champions Creed.  The leader of our organization, Roy Harris,  was up from San Diego and gave a great seminar on guard work.  Learned a lot; easy.  Putting it into practice; not so easy!
Mr. Harris also awarded two new belts.  Sheila Bird earned her second degree black, and Dan Buchwald his black.  Congratulations to both of them!
Brian and Sheila, as usual, were great hosts and we appreciate the effort that goes into organizing these events.  Can't wait for the next one in June!

NEW PURPLE BELT
Chad Roberts took his evaluation on Friday night and received his purple belt from Brian Bird.  He showed a lot of heart and demonstrated some great technique, including the hard to master "twenty-four inch hurl".
We are very proud of him and his dedication.  Congratulations, Chad!
